(Bringing: Marsh, Kent & Minus)
If you were to accompany Lillian to a store when the Halloween decorations first launched onto the shelves for the year, you would have hear gleeful squeezing and have to bear being drug shop to shop as she looked at each and every item (and even bought a few). Halloween was her second favorite holiday, next to Christmas, and being on a journey would not stop her from celebrating. Natrually, she found herself in Slareport, shopping for costumes and allowing her Pokemon to socialize (Kent was the worst of them all, running around and looking for - something, his little cape flying around behind him like some super hero).
Most of the shops had already been looked through thoroughly, so Lillian found herself mostly window shopping and visiting with residence in the hopes of finding out when the best time to Trick or Treat - yes, a sixteen year old was planning to go Trick or Treating, if not just to get sweets for her Pokemon - Would be.

AS the season turned , stores were decorated with orange and black colors, ghost type Pokemon pop-ups or stickers, and cringe-worthy puns. All in all, everyone was just getting in the mood for some festive fun. After all, October would be very boring if there was not a seasonal event coming along.
Up above, a group of Murkrow were flying and then suddenly, swooped down on Lillian! Thankfully, they didn't physically slammed into her with their bodies, but stayed just close enough to cause a scare. Phew! They had actually spotted a ring in the trash can, and were fighting on the street as the Murkrows were using their bodies, beaks, and wings to get a hold of the shiny ring. The avians were flinging the ring among themselves, when it suddenly flew in Lillian's direction, and disappeared inside her shopping bag. Several seconds later, they noticed the rings weren't there with them anymore, and stopped fighting, but they were distracted by another shiny thing in an alley and flocked over there. If Lillian were to look at the ring, it was a golden ring with ruby on it. Though the jewelry was a bit rusted and old.

Lily wasn't too worried about paying attention to where she was going. She grew up in Slateport, after all. So when the hoard of Mrkrow went whizzing past, she must have jumped five feet at least; her banshee of a scream being heard from a mile away. She stood there, frozen with her bags splayed on the ground as she tried to calm herself own. Once it registered to her that a monster was not infact coming after her, and that the Murkrow were more interested in the trash than her, Lillian sighed in annoyance.
"Stupid birds," she pouted as she bent over to collect her bags; the Murkrow quickly becoming interestes in something new. As the blue haires girl picked up the last bag, she pausws. "Hm, what's this?"
Out came a small gold ring with a ruby on it. The girl stood up fully, trying to examine it closer. She was sure she didn't buy the ring earlier. How did it get there? Perhaps this was whar the Murkrow were fighting over?

As Lillian was holding the mysterious ring that fell into her bag, she could feel a wave of ominous feeling running from her fingers to the rest of her body. The shiver might have dropped the temperature a bit for a few seconds. It was just the mind playing tricks was it?
Just as she was focusing on the ring for some seconds, a mysterious girl suddenly came up to her. "Boo!" She tried to scare the young trainer. "That was impressive reaction with the Murkrow! Wow! Though I saw you holding that ring. It looks like the ring that a witch had a long time ago. Legend said anyone who touches it was cursed..." She paused for a bit with a smirk before resuming. "It was just a legend right?"
She then excused herself that she needed to go, and casually waved a goodbye with her hand while smiling. Well, it's not normal for strangers to just walk up to you, smiling, and say creepy things.

The ring seemed a bit odd now that she got a better look at it. She couldn't help but shiver slightly, though she wasn't quite sure why. Did it just get cold all of the sudden? She was so into this strange ring, Lillian didn't even hear anyone come up behind her until it was too late. The blue haired girl practically jumped out of her shoes as she turned to face whoever scared her, hair almost standing on end. Lillian barely got a word in edge wise as this strange girl told her about the ring, before quickly excusing herself off into the crowded streets.
Lillian's brow furrowed as she looked from the ring to where the girl went and then back again, before deciding that she needed to know more about this ring. She obviously couldn't hand it out to someone else and let them be cursed, could she? Maybe there was a way to reverse it or something? Calling her Pokemon back and returning Marsh and Kent to their Pokeballs, she quickly perched Minus on her shoulder and headed in the direction the strange girl went. Maybe she knew more than she actually let on, and just maybe she could help Lillian figure out how to fix it -- if at all.

Trying to find the strange girl to know more about the "curse", Lillian kept on going a couple steps, but the strange girl seemed to have faded into the crowd, but the impending curse was just a few seconds away. The Murkrow flock from earlier had taken the sky again, cawing as they went. However, their distracted eyes looking for shiny things had bumped into a group of Hoppip, SKiploom, and Jumpluff up in the air. The two groups dished out attacks, that would be very confusing for the eyes to follow as it was more than a triple battle. Though basically, it was a mixture of the grass type Pokemon sending spore attacks, the Murkrows trying to attack back with physical attacks and maybe night shade. Unfortunately for Lillian, some of the Jumpluff had quite a tactic with Cotton Spore, and they landed a bunch of fluffy cotton on her and her clothes! Some of the cottons might have stuck on the fabric or hair by static, and simply just needed to have a hand brush them away. Soon enough, the two groups finished their rapid group battle, and continued their aerial journey, and avoiding each other for the next two days.

Even though it had only been a few moments, the girl had rapidly disappeared into the crowd. Even Minus atop her shiulder could not see her. The girl gave an exasperated sigh. Just what had that been all about? A curse? On this ring. Curses weren't real, right? (Well, at least not in the human realm, any way.) Figuring she lost the girl at this rate, Lillian chose to see if maybe one of the jewelry shops around here would be of any use. Worst case scenario, she just sold it, rigbt?
Just then, there came a commotion from above. Lillian paused a looked up, only to see the Murkrow from earlier -- she assumed -- fussing with a group of Hopip and it's evoltuon. Lillian blinked as she watched the commotion infold, not noting Minus' slightly pinned ears and dropped tail as they watched. Lillian thought nothing of it and went to continue on her way -- it's not like they were hurting anyone or coming after her for the ring, after all - when cotton began to surge onto the ground, latching on to anything could get a hold of. Lillian screeched at the first touch of cotton on her bare skin, believing it to be a bug of some sorts. Minus was no better, his static charged fur turning him into a walking cotton ball in no time.
It took Lillian a long moment to compose hersel, and another to drag herself and her Pokemon to a nearby building to seek cover as she began trying to pull and comb the cotton out of her hair as well as her Pokemons, grumbling with annoyance. Well, at least those wild Pokemon weren't fighting anymore.

Taking a moment to peel off all the fallen cotton, Lillian and her Minun were finally able to removed most, if not all, of the cotton lumps from the aerial skirmish earlier. The two finally don't looked like they walked out of a cotton ball factory incident. Just when she thought she would get a breather, a small shop two buildings down seemed to be in the middle of a commotion.
"Would somebody come help me?" A man's voice hollered. "I got a Rattata situation!" In front of the man was a Glaceon, standing on its four leg gracefully, blasting ice shards at a group of incoming Rattata. The gentleman was a small business owner, and it would spell doom if the horde of Rattata bit and clawed away his merchandises.
"Glaceon, Ice shard again! And to your left!" The man ordered, but still moving his head around to look for people to help, and shouted out loud looking for anybody who could help him.

This is an optional statless battle, like in anime. Please send one or two Pokemon to help out, if you want.

Minus was the first to hear the commotion ahead; ears perking as he listened to the man's cries. Lillian followed his gaze until she, too, saw it. The Pokemon cried out as he tugged on his trainer's hair, causing her to jump and turn towards the shop.
"Oh, no!" Lillian gasped.
Ratatta were pesky little Pokemon when grouped in hoards; and it wasn't like Lillian was a huge fan of the rat-like Pokemon. But she just couldn't leave the man and the Glaceon to fend for themselves, right? With false vigor, the blue haired girl made her way to the frenzy of Ratatatta running to and fro.
"Hey, don't worry!" Lillian called to the man as she rushed over. "Minus, use thundershock to try and scare the Pokemon away!"
Minus leap off of his trainer's shoulder and, standing upright, scrunched his tiny nose. Electricity erupted from his body and danced to the attacking Ratatta in the hopes of at least frightening them away.

Answering to the call for help, the young trainer sent her Minun to use electrical attack to either fend off or to warn the Rattatas from coming in any closer. Leaping off from the trainer and somehow landed where the Glaceon was, the electric mouse stood fearlessly to the horde of purple pests, and discharged a line of lightning from his body. The lightning tore a line in the horde, disturbing whatever formation or plan the rats had. Some Rattata were shocked, and some simply got out of the way, which led to a little trampling and piling on top of each other. The sudden confusion in the horde led them to pause, and after clicking their teeth a few times to communicate, they retreated and scuttled out of here. The Glaceon cried happily to the Minun, and thanked for his help. "Thank you Ma'am! Without your help, my store would have been sacked! I got a little treat for you and your Minun for helping me!" He looked around to see where the Minun came from, and spotted the trainer. He motioned her to come, and then proceeded to look around the store to find some snacking materials for them both.
Minus gained 2 levels and is now Level 5! He can learn Helping Hand, delete a move? Also +10 Happiness to the mouse

Lillin had to admit, she didn't think it would be that easy. They had outnumbered them, after all. But maybe the little rat like Pokemon weren't too brave when faced with a tough opponent? Minus seemed to puff out his chest slightly at the complements given to him. Lillian couldn't help but giggle.
"Oh? Reward? Oh, sir, you don't have to --"
Lillian tried to dent the man's offer, however Minus was already happily scampering into the shop behind the man at the thought of something to eat. There did seem to be a lot of nice treats around here, after all. Lillian could only huff and follow the small Pokemon. A snack of the sorts sounded like a good idea to her, anyhow. She was starting to get hungry, and she wasn't sure she could go without having a snack in between dinner.
She just hoped she didn't get food poisoning.

The store owner insisted, because after all, she had helped out with the Rattata horde. He got a few snacks and handed them to Lillian, and one for the Minun. As she was leaving the store, if she wasn't careful, or had forgotten after eating, the outside of the floor was still slippery with a mixture of melting ice and water. After all, the battle had just ended not long ago. If she wasn't balanced, she might have slipped or fell. Was this part of the curse that the weird ring had brought? Or was this a blessing because they got free snack for basically no effort? It was hard to tell.
After the snacks stuff, the owner thanked again for the trainer's help, and suggested Lillian to check out a park where they're setting up some Halloween events, if she was interested.

To say Lillian was excited by the prospect of a food-based reward, that was an understatement (though she tried to play it cool, if only not to make herself look bad). She and Marsh happily followed the man into his store, mindful of some of the spots on the ground that were still iced over from the Glaceon's previous attacks. The two were given various treats and whatnot, happily munching on some as the man told them about a Halloween event being held at the park. Lillian and Minus both seemed to perk up at the thought. With something like that, there was bound to be a lot of trainers and even concession stands there, right?
Lillian thanked the shop owner, picking Minus up to allow him to sit on her shoulder as they rushed out, curse somewhat forgotten. The trainer practically slipped on the way out, barely catching herself as the two headed out towards the park in the hopes of at least a little bit more luck than what they had been having since they had found that strange ring.

After slipping on her way out, the young trainer only walked a little bit when she was probably cursed again. A young man's voice was shouting "Watch out!" from behind, but the warning came too late. A Scraggy came running, and just when Lillian was near a scenic tree in the middle of the street, the Pokemmon headbutt hard onto the tree. The impact shook up a whole bunch of leaves that fell on the trainer, kind of like the cotton from earlier in the day.
The Scraggy did get what it wanted though, as a bunch of Murkrows on that tree cawed madly and flew away somewhere else. As the bird disappeared, the lizard Pokemon snickered and sneered. The young man approached Lillian, and apologized profusely for the mess his Pokemon made.

Lillian was getting close to the park, albeit a few wrong turns were made. She surely wasn't lost, though. She was just taking -- a small detour. She was most certain she was getting close to the park, as more people and their Pokemon seemed to appear, when she heard someone shout from behind her.
Naturally, both Lillian and Minus turned their heads curiously as Lillian slowed down as not to run into anything. Did someone want to battle with them, maybe? Nope -- instead, a small Scraggy came barreling towards them. Lillian squeaked and took several steps back in the process as the Scraggy neared as Minus hopped off of her shoulder with the notion that this Pokemon was attacking them. Neither realized that they were now under a nice, shady tree that would be their downfall.
The Scraggy surprised both Lillian and Minus when the small fighting and dark type instead headbutt the tree next to them, sending a flurry of leaves upon them that caused Lillian to screech in surprise and fall backwards onto her rear; Minus' cheeks sparking to life in his own surprise and causing many of the leaves to stick to him due to static. Overhead, many Murkrow cried out in annoyance and flew out of the tree. Lillian was glad that they didn't try to get back at the ruthless Scraggy; she was getting rather tired of Murkrow today, honestly.
Lillian finally stood and managed to brush many of the leaves off when the Scraggy's trainer approached, apologizing profusely. Minus finally returned to her as well, not quite free of the leaves as the little Pokemon tried to pick them off of his body.
"Oh, no, it's okay!" Lillian tried to assure as she brushed off the leaves. "Pokemon can sometimes get a little too out of hand."
