Species: Shiny Skiddo Name: Billy Gender: Male Level: 5 OT: Andy Richter Ability: Sap Sipper Happiness: 50 Hold Item: None Moves: Grassy Terrain (EM), Tackle, Growth Species: Azurill Name: Aquamarine Gender: Female Level: 5 OT: Andy Richter Ability: Huge Power Happiness: 50 Hold Item: None Moves: Splash, Water Gun, Tail Whip, Water Sport Meeting: Starter It's the eighteenth birthday of a boy named Andy as well as the start of his journey around the Hoenn Region, the day going normally so far with an early rise from him and an overall good day with his parents ending with the joyous 'Happy Birthday' tune from Bob and Martha. The only thing really missing would be his only major friend throughout the past 12 years, the parents had this in mind, however. While there were no wrapped presents around the house, Bob and Martha simply nod knowingly at him, "Where are any presents, if you have gotten any that is." he asks before starting to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt all throughout the house to look for any presents. "There are three presents for you somewhere around the house, see if you can find them, son," Bob smiles as Andy continues looking around heading to the kitchen, bathroom, and living room but finding nothing there. Andy then facepalms, "Of course!" then heads up to his room...which surprisingly looks untouched at first glance, the lad looking around for anything unusual and finding a trainer bag on his chair, the bag designed with bubble theme on it, "Cool, this should help for carrying items" he notes before opening the bag. Out of which pops the little, blue Azurill, Aqua. Andy immediately hugs the mouse upon seeing her, "Pecha berries Aqua! what are you doing in there and how did you even...Wait you're one of the presents from mom and dad, aren't you ?!" the little cheery mouse nodding at him in confirmation. Besides the pokemon, within the bag would be the pokenav, a fluffy tail which he doesn't exactly see the use in, for now as it looks more like something to amuse younger pokemon, 5 pokeballs, a great ball, 2 potions and a revive. A pretty good starting package to be sure, though he still had one more pokemon to find. Said little mischief maker actually in the space behind his bedroom door, the pokemon bleating loudly from its hiding space and pushing the door closed after, causing Andy to jump and back away a bit from the yellow bush pokemon. The kid bleats happily to himself before both parents come up figuring that he found them as evidenced by the loud signal. "I see you found our 3 presents, how does our little Pecha berry like them?" Martha playfully teases him, Aqua squeaking lightly at this and giving Andy a hug with her tail "Mom!" he blushes, "You know that's embarrassing! But I do love them."
she giggles a bit seeing the blush "Have fun out there but, be careful honey.""I will. Thanks a lot," he says tapping the two pokemon with pokeballs before setting the balls in his bag Mom and Dad follow him downstairs and wave goodbye to him as he heads outside into Littleroot, a quick check of the Pokenav showing that his first area should be Route 101 to the north, "Let's get started then." letting his new pokemon out of their balls, one on each side of him, both looking around the area that is the outskirts of Littleroot and the beginnings of Route 101, the weather currently as good as the day has been for the just blooming trainer. Every youngsters dreamed to be a trainer eventually, or one of these days. Some travel earlier than others, some began their journey later than others. Wherever youngsters lived in the world, being a trainer was something most people sought after. Exploring Route 101 with his old friend and new friend, Andy was one of the many young trainer joining the roster of becoming a trainer. He would have so many adventures to experience, stories to tell, and friends to make. As he walked a little around five minutes into Route 101, he witnessed a young Poochyena chasing after a Wurmple. The bug type was no stranger living in the wild, crawling as fast as it could. When it was almost cornered, it shot a string shot up in the tree, and swung itself up like a spy movie character. The Poochyena barked at the Wurmple angrily a couple times, but then its nostril picked up an unfamiliar scent, of Pokemon it had never met. It turned around and saw an Azurill, a human, and a Skiddo.
A (Level 2) Poochyena appeared! OOC: currently, weather is the kind of thing I ease into RP as I see fit or to mix it up You may engage it in battle, flee, or RP other interactions. For Wild Pokemon, you can use a max of three turns in one post to speed up. You can click the "Travel and Encounters" Link at the top for what the 3 turns could mean.

The three continue on for now down route 101, for now, nothing too much going on besides the mouse's bouncing and the kid's clopping hooves. After a bit of time, they would stumble on the Poochyena that seemed to have been foiled by a Wurmple who decided to channel its inner Spider-worm, slinging itself up onto a tree and slinking away, leaving a very angry pooch and a rather amused Andy as he watches the whole scene. With them catching sight of the Poochyena, the white-haired boy decided to battle him, for now just looking to get some experience in battle with his two friends. "Okay Aqua, how about you battle this pooch?" he says gently, the mouse bouncing to a few feet of the pup and giving a few squeaks. "Mind using a water gun and a tail whip, please?" with those two orders Andy's first battle was on, the tail whip really wouldn't do anything given that Aqua had no physical moves, but, if by some chance this pooch proved too strong for Aqua to handle, Billy could step in and take care of the rest, though he hoped that wouldn't happen so early on his adventure. That would be so embarrassing, to say the least. The water gun coming out of the blue rodent's mouth in a fierce spray aimed at the grey and black pooch followed by a few cute wags of her tail before facing him again. OOC: using a water gun and tail whip in that order. Tropius

Even if Andy were to switch Pokemon, thankfully, no one would be around to watch his potential embarrassment. The Azurill energetically hopped in front of the youngster, and squealed happily to engage the Poochyena's attention. Then, she hopped around to get close to the opponent, and fired a weak stream of water at the canine, soaking it wet. The dog shook its body a little bit, and then darted forward to slam onto the baby Pokemon. After she was being tackled, Aquamarine tried her best to skillfully hop around the grey furred Pokemon, and then whacked it with her buoyant tail-ball. The Poochyena found that feeling funny and weird, barked angrily before charging for another Tackle. The physical attack looked a little stronger than the last one, but the Azurill was hopping just found, as she anticipated Andy's next order.

With those out of the way, Andy took a second to survey the battle. Aqua appeared to be just fine for now while the pooch she was battling looked to be very annoyed and wet, to say the least. One more of these sprays of water could possibly send this pooch scurrying off to dry itself off. A resolve to finish this off in mind, Andy next order comes for Aqua now, "Another water gun please," the mouse giving him a little squeak in acknowledgment before releasing yet another spray of water at this canine, hopefully Andy's intuition proves to be well founded and the pooch would be sent away with this spray.
OOC: water gun on the poochyena again.

Even though the Poochyena was like 80% dry from the last Water Gun, Aquamarine wasted no time to hop up close to the grey canine and squirt another douse of water. The dark type yapped as the normal type rapidly changed expression, and hopped away, before being slammed by the opponent. Even though in a simple battle like this, the normal type was able to practice battle some more, as she got a bit more comfortable with bouncing around in such a quick pace. The more she practiced, the more she'll be a powerful Pokemon, but for now, let's get the bouncing routine out of the way.

3) Used Water Gun 12/21

Andy gave a little smile to Aqua as she was doing quite well with this first encounter, the mouse bouncing around, for now, to keep this pokemon guessing a bit more through the dark type is able to knock her back with another use of tackle. The mouse still clearly able to battle some more; it was their turn to send an attack its way, the trainer having her once again use a water gun, as its the only attack she has it the moment though this will change with time. A third stream of water would be launched at the wild dog now, looking to soak the fur yet again.

Even though Water Gun was the only attack the Azurill knows, that didn't stop the normal type from defending herself. Hopping on her tail-ball, the Pokemon zoned in on the opponent, and narrowed the distance between the two. When she was ready, she fired a sureshot Water Gun. The surprise, the impact, the drench knocked out the Poochyena. The dark type passed out on the ground before it got a chance to defend itself. Should Andy wanted to capture this Pokemon, this would be his chance.
Aquamarine gained 2 levels! She's now Level 7 and can learn Bubble, delete a move? +10 Happiness
The Poochyena can be captured if you want. A Pokeball will be deducted.

The little mouse and Andy both give small smiles to each other as the Pooch seemed to finally have enough of being soaked by water guns, Billy, however, is a bit of a sourpuss just huffing quietly to himself trotting from side to side of Andy restlessly. "Don't worry about it, you would be going next if we encounter another pokemon," this getting a nod from the moving bush, the kid trying to look bigger than it actually was, Andy just attributes this to it wanting its own chance to battle with a pokemon. Turning to the now fainted pup, he would think about it for a bit before deciding not to capture this pup mainly out of not really desiring a dark type at the moment. While just leaving that poor pokemon there was something he didn't really want to do, what else could be done aside from waiting for the pup to regain consciousness and hopefully scamper off and who knows how long that would take? With a sigh and in spite of Aqua's squeaky protests, the group would continue on the route, for now, looking for a reasonable pokemon for the Skiddo to have some practice against. Species: Azurill Name: Aquamarine Gender: Female Level: 7 OT: Andy Richter Ability: Huge Power Happiness: 60 Hold Item: None Moves: Bubble, Water Gun, Tail Whip, Water Sport Meeting: Starter (hope you dont mind me reposting the pokemon as they gain levels, sorry if its annoying)

Continuing the route, and leaving the Poochyena behind, it wasn't long until the group came upon another Pokemon. Even though the white cloud was looking dense, there wasn't a lot of bulges and gray. It probably won't rain for another length of time. The weather was still mild and warm, perfect weather for another battle. As the newbie continued on, Andy encountered a Zigzagoon who was crawling on its feet, sniffling at every colorful thing that wasn't green or brown. Examining from flowers growing on the ground to berries growing on bushes, the normal type was curious, and maybe looking for fun. If Andy wanted to battle this raccoon, he should interrupt it before it wanders away from smelling the next thing.
A (Level 4) Zigzagoon appeared! It can have Hidden Ability Quick Feet! (at capture, I don't use wild pokes ability) ooc: it's fine if you're keeping it as reference for yourself but if you want me to update anything in your profile lemme know lmao

The three continue exploring the route, for now, the little blue mouse now settling down after its little battle with a Poochyena. The weather still pretty much the perfect weather that they started on this route with. The silly Skiddo looks all around the route for his own pokemon to practice on, perhaps maybe to show off for the Azurill? Who knows? Its about 3 minutes of exploration before Andy and the pokemon would hear a tiny rustling noise again. A little ways away would be apparently a very curious raccoon, the brown pokemon on the ground smelling the flowers.
While the trainer wasn't one to interfere with a pokemon that could have possibly been looking for something, least not that often, he makes an exception here whispering to the Skiddo while they were a bit away and hopefully out of range of the raccoon, "Use a growth, then a tackle please." The goat glowing slightly as the bush that was its pelt would grow had an accelerated pace for a bit, Skiddo now looking more like an actual moving bush with hooves, though there was still the problem of his slightly different coloration, but maybe the brown pokemon wouldn't notice that as the goat began its charge to tackle the raccoon. Too bad that before doing so Billy took the more showy approach of planting its hooves, akin more to a bull. Pretty much giving the element of surprise away if this raccoon had heard it.
OOC: used Growth followed by Tackle

Billy bleated and its green furs glowed a brilliant green, which seemed to have an effect of boosting his power, and maybe he looked a little bigger? The sudden glowing of light caught the Zigzagoon's attention, and the normal type responded by running over and gently whacked the grass type with its tail. The Zigzagoon was growling and rambling in its Pokemon creature speak, but Billy could tell that maybe the normal type was complaining about the flash of light was too bright and hurt its eyes. Then, Billy dramatically charged for his tackle, ramming his baby sized body at the Zigzagoon, knocking it off the air flying. Thankfully, the normal type landed on its feet and continued like normal. It ran back rapidly with its own tackle, only difference was, Billy's tackle was much stronger.

With Billy glowing that vivid green color, Andy watched as the raccoon gave the kid a few smacks with his tail, it didn't really look to harm him at that moment, more annoyed that glow Billy gave off. He paid no mind to this though and after an exchange of tackles, which left Billy out on top in that little test of power, the kid proudly stands there with as much of smirk as he can muster. The little bush enjoying little contests of power on occasion, though you could argue he probably enjoys giving Andy a scare more. The blue mouse just watching on for now, though she isn't one for the gloating type, be it human or pokemon, nevertheless she smiles as it looks like he would easily triumph over the raccoon.
Andy has another plan for the brown pokemon however, more intent on catching the raccoon before heading off to the next town to get a little rest before going through another route. Andy now throwing one of his 4 pokeballs at the Zigzagoon. Hopefully, he didn't end up wildly missing his first attempt at an actual catch, oh how embarrassing that would be if that proves to be the case.
(OOC: throwing a pokeball at the Zigzagoon this turn)

After weakening the opponent a little bit, Andy had decided to throw a Pokeball in hope of capturing the wild Zigzagoon. He watched as the capture device fly through the air, undisturbed, and hitting the opponent. The sphere automatically opened and warped the normal type into its sphere, and dropped to the ground as it shook dramatically. This scenario was experienced by many trainers, many times in their lives. The ball shook to the right. Then the middle. And DING! A single sound of successful capture signaled the end of the battle. The Pokeball now rest on the grass until Andy picked it up. Today marked Andy's capture of his first Pokemon!
Zigzagoon was successfully captured! One Pokeball deducted!
Billy gained 2 levels and is now Level 7! He learned Vine Whip! +10 happiness!
