The Minun was friendly, and walked up to the young trainer and attached itself to her shoes. However, maybe due to the fact Lillian also had a Minun in her team, the polarity of the electric Pokemon's charges sparked a bit, but thankfully not enough to injure anyone. The spark made a zing, a quick sting like static electricity on a cold day, on Lillian, and from then on, her Minun popped out of the woodwork. Quickly seeing a Plusle nearby, the two squeaked and greeted each other excitedly. They first started running around her feet to play catch, and then moved a little further, but still within her view. It wasn't sure if the Plusle was entertaining the Minun, or testing Lillian's Pokemon, or seeing their chemistry together. Though currently, the two have great chemistry to be on a team, albeit a little mischievous and energetic when together. Then, as if by accident, they accidentally stepped on a sleeping Oddish, who got angry and now ran after them. The Plusle panicked, and started running differently to try to distract the Oddish, but the grass type picked the Plusle to follow, and the poor Pokemon seemed to got cornered into the edge of the land, where it had no other places to run now.
A (Level 4) Shiny Oddish was after the Plusle!! OOC: Can't remember if Minun was traveling outside of Pokeball but it's out now. +208 words

Lillian couldn't help but squeal as the two bounded and played with one another on the route. Plusle and Minun were technically a pair; whether or not she decided to keep them on the same team as Marsh, they would certainly be cute together. The Plusle didn't seem aggressive or want to battle; maybe it would want to come along on her journey willingly? It was hard to not want to try and keep the Plusle, but there was the small uncertainty that it would get along with Minus. Maybe Plusle and Minun had a certain bond with a certain one of it's counterpart? Lillian had never given it much thought before, as she had never thought of capturijg a pair like this before.
The blue haired girl was snapped out of her thoughts when she realized that the playing Pokemon had disturbed another, albeit sleeping, Pokemon nearby. Lillian panicked for a split second, believing the two were in deep trouble -- only for her eyes to grow wide and for another squeal to escape her as she realized what she was looking at was in fact not only an Oddish, but a shiny Oddish. The angered grass type had focused it's attention on the Plusle, Minus looking as though he wasn't sure what to do -- should he help, or wait for his trainer to choose a different course of action?
Lillian really couldn't say no to a battle at this point -- the poor Plusle running until it hit a ledge, where it would likely fall -- and she figured maybe the Plusle would warm up to her if she decided to help it. It would be like hitting two Pidgey with one stone, right?
The trainer was short of calling out a move for Minus to use. However, before she could, something on her waist jiggled. There was a bright light, and the Elekid emerged from his Pokeball, all ampted up with electricity sparking from the in between the prongs on his head.
<"Don't worry, dear damsel!"> the Elekid cried in Poke' speech. <"I'm here to rescue you!">
"Hoy! No, wait!" Lillian tried to call after the Elekid, Minus watching the scene unfold with his head cocked to one side in curiosity. "Elekid, get back here!"
But it was a tad bit too late. The Elekid was already launching himself forward at the wild Oddish, a fire punch forming on his fist.
(OOC: 400 words. It's all good. XD Kent decided he'd come out to help, anyway.)

The vindictive Elekid was walking nowhere close to Lillian, and instead was going further to rescue the Plusle. Wish fire forming on his fist, he marched toward the Oddish, which cornering the Plusle. The Oddish was so focused on the Plusle that it didn't realize the Elekid before it was too late. When it turned around, the sight of fire was merely enough to make it toppled off balance. Then, when the Elekid punched the life out of the Oddish, it passed out on the ground, unconscious. The Elekid made a victorious pose, feeling good about his accomplishment. The Plusle sighed a breath of relief, and then ran up to the grass type to check. Minus also came to the grass type to take a look. When they both were sure that it passed out, they danced and hopped up and down. Then, the two electric types went up to the Elekid, and probably thanked him or asked him to join playing. Should the trainer would want to capture this Oddish, now would be a good chance.
Kent gained 1 level and is now level 10! He also gained 10 happiness!
The (Level 5) Plusle was tagging along for a little bit.

Naturally, the sudden Fire Punch proved to be a critical -- the Oddish fainting in just one hit. Lillian squealed, mostly in surprise. Was the Fire Punch just that effective, or was the Elekid just that strong? None the less, at least the Plusle was now safe. Lillian quickly thought to grab a Pokeball from her bag and tossing it at the Oddish, making an easy capture now that it was knocked out.
The Elekid gave swift poses in his victory, the Plus and Minus Pokemon checking on one another before approaching the Elekid. The Plusle didn't seem to get hurt during the scuffle at all. Well, that was good. She'd been worried about the poor thing falling into the water or worse. The Elekid seemed like a good fit for her team, too (even though he seemed a tad bit rash). Maybe he would get better as he got older, as he seemed rather childish, wearing that silly cape and all.
"Alright, little guy," Lillian began sweetly as she approached the three conversing Pokemon, pulling out the Elekid's Pokeball, "I think you've done a lot for today. Maybe you should rest?"
"Kid? Elekid!" the Electric type Pokemon protested, bouncing around with it's arms flailing.
A little jolt of electricity erupted in between the prong's on it's head. Lillian felt a little nervous, but still proceeded to press the button, returning the Elekid as it puffed up it's chest. The Pokeball shook in Lillian's hand a few times as the light on the front flashed, before it stopped altogether. Maybe he was a little tired; hopefully enough to where he would calm down until Mauville.
"We shouldn't be too far, now," Lillian informed somewhat merrily as she returned the Pokeball to her waist and looked back to the Minun and Plusle. "I can probably take you guys to a Pokemon Center when we get there, too!"
While the prospect of training more seemed nice, the idea of getting her Pokemon healed seemed even better. They couldn't get into too much more trouble anyhow, right? Besides, maybe the Plusle sticking around with them might help them if they were to get into too much trouble (if Lillian didn't manage to somehow scare it away, of course).

Species: Shiny Oddish Name: Gender: Female Level: 4 OT: Lillian Adams Ability: Chlorophyll Happiness: 50 Hold Item: None Moves: Absorb Meeting: Route 110 Nature/Characteristics: This Oddish tends to be a little hot headed and quick to anger in most situations. She tends to act first and think later, and doesn't seem to care about the repercussions. She also doesn't take orders too well, and will often be caught disobeying Lillian during battle -- or even when roaming freely. She and Kent don't appear to get along.

As Lillian continued on toward Slateport City, with a wild Plusle tagging along for some reason, she came across an erratic little Zigzagoon, and overly energetic. The normal type Pokemon was running back and forth, visibly in front of her. It would be running from tree to tree in a zigzag pattern, and turned out to be using Headbutt on the trees. The trees would shook when hit from its headbutt, but only some of them would shook the fruits or berries down. Thankfully, it was attacking the same few trees over and over, and there weren't any Taillow, or tree-dwelling Pokemon present, as they would be certainly annoyed by the headbutt Zigzagoon. It didn't seem to notice Lillian, yet. Perhaps it got excited learning a new move and playing with it?
An ordinary (Level 7) Zigzagoon appeared!
The (Level 5) Plusle is still tagging along (for one more battle lol, since you're using non-battle and capture method)

Lillian couldn't say she wasn't happy to at least see the sights. Plus, the Plusle seemed to still be willing to tag along on their little journey, and Minus seemed a little bit happier with the other mouse-like Pokemon around. Adding another Pokemon to her team sounded nice, even if that meant she would have three electric types right off the bat. Ah, well, you couldn't pick and choose when there was cute Pokemon involved, right?
Which was what led her to her next little odd encounter -- a Zigzagoon rushing back and forth between the trees that lined the path up ahead, seemingly headbutting everything in it's path. It didn't even seem to notice Lillian and the two Pokemon as they approached, which seemed rather odd to her. She knew Linoone, their evolution, would run and run without hardly stopping, but a Zigzagoon acting like this almost made her worry.
"What do you think it's doing?" Lillian couldn't help but ask aloud.
Minus cocked his head towards his trainer, before looking back to the Pokemon and taking a few steps forward. Lillian watched curiously as it approached further -- only to make Lillian give a surprised squeak as Minus gave the Zigzagoon a testing jolt with a weak thunderwave as it, too, grew closer.

With electricity pulsing his cheeks, the young Minun gradually approached the wild Zigzagoon, who seemed to be still headbutting trees left and right. When he felt that he was close enough to the furry creature, he let loose a weak jolt, sending a Thunder Wave at the Zigzagoon. The discharge of electricity ran through the Zigzagoon's body, who seemed to be halted in his weird running and headbutting. When the electric attack was done, the Zigzagoon took a single step forward and turned its head toward the Minun, but felt a sharp numbness in its muscles, unable to move. It winced and managed a soft cry, while struggling to even budge.
