Warin had already agreed to go if it was deemed safe and the flygon would do all it could to protect him. He was shaking by fear when he took to the sky and he had to fly around a bit near the ground, to get his muscles to work right. It could be fatal if he was slowed in any way. When he felt as ready as he could be, he with a tight knot in his stomach told the flygon that he was ready, and would follow the other pokemon towards the horrifying electric creature. When he got the chance, he would race forward to send his supersonic at the xurkitree and then he dived to hide behind flygon. Hopefully it had hit and had worked, or else he would try it again. And again. Dagrun listened worried to Agent M's tale and looked worried after Warin as he set out to save a legendary pokemon, and the rest of the area. And against a pokemon that he was weakest against, one that barely should look at him before he died. Dagrun's respect for the little brave wingull rose significant, maybe there was more to him than a common bird that could be roasted easily. Dagrun promised herself to appreciate him more. (ooc: I can always wish I keep messing those two moves up since they are doing the same thing in the end, hehe.)

The Xurkitree moved again, swaying its wiry body to attack with another electrical attack. Moltres, on the other hand, cried out loud and then retaliated by blasting some fires from its beak. The noise was indeed the same screech that Dagrun had heard earlier. As the two attacks collided, the field became filled with smoke (for like so many times now). The Flygon hummed a little to signal the WIngull that they're going now.
The two Pokemon flew forward, and when the smoke cleared, they were basically in between the two powerful Pokemon. Thankfully, they had to rest a good couple seconds before they could attack with another. The Flygon was flying fast, with the WIngull up close. When Flygon got close, it waited until the WIngull was close, and then let Warin unleashed his Supersonic. The avian cawed loudly and annoyingly, making the Xurkitree confused successfully, as evident from how its body was now wobbling from not clearly seeing or sensing what's going on. (It's an alien being, how do we know how it "sees"?)
However, that didn't stop it from unleashing something like a Thundebolt or Discharge. Flygon flew and pushed the WIngull out of the way with its body, and absorbed the electric attack while the double disadvantaged Pokemon was out of range. And then, after that was over, it hurriedly flew back to its trainer and muttered an apology to Moltres. The fire bird thankfully didn't unleashed its fire attack when the two were up close, but it was trying to processed what just happened.
OOC: yeah but one is sound based and less accurate and the other is p much always accurate

Warin's heart was in his throat and he barely didn't have any air to make the supersonic attack. He more croaked it than made a smooth waving sound as it often was, but it worked. It didn't stop the Xurkitree from retaliating and Warin got pushed out of the way and saved by the flygon, and beat his small wings as fast as he could to get back to safety. He practically slammed into Dagrun where he laid gasping and shaking from the fear and realisation how close to death he had been. Dagrun felt bad for the wingull and petted him to help him relax. She was relieved that moltres had held back and that Warin had escaped the retaliation. She had no idea how to solve the problem from here on, as she had no pokemon who could do anything against the weird wire-thing. Fiera could perhaps deal a bit of damage if she had a ground-type attack, but it would be a drop in the ocean with how little training they had.
"What now?" Dagrun asked "Agent M". "Will you let your Flygon try take it and see if it can be captures, or do you have another plan? It won't continue to be confused and I don't think Warin will be able to face it again."

Agent M grinned as he heard Dagrun's response to the situation. He calmly and casually buttoned up his coat as if he was preparing for something. He was also pulling out some special science fiction level of weird glasses to assess the situation.
"Glad you asked, I will definitely capture this thing... And see where this came from." He shot a look at the other human in the scene, and then turned his back toward the fray. "Moltres, this is your chance to stay out for a bit, we'll get this Xurkitree taken care of!" He hollered. However, the fire bird was a little hesitant, and instead flew a little out of the field, while the Flygon hovered closer toward the opponent.
"It looks like Moltres did do some damage on the Xurkitree, but it's not enough to weaken it. Flygon, go for a Rock Slide!" He ordered, and watched as his ground type Pokemon go to work.
There wasn't much boulder chunks around the area, so the sand dragon would have to conjure some on its own. The Flygon's eyes glowed white and a white sphere appeared in front of it, and then from the inside of the sphere, several chunks of damaging rocks came flying at the confused Xurkitree, who was still disoriented from the Supersonic. The rocks slammed it again and again, but its wiry body looked difficult to tell if it was exhausted and how much it was hit. Frustrated, it dispersed a radius of electric attack coming from its body. It would be either discharge or thunderbolt, but it's hard to tell. Either way, the Flygon just closed its eyes and took the hit like nothing.

Dagrun looked curiously at Agent M and wondered what he was up to. She was impressed that he was going to attempt to capture the weird creature and got a feeling he knew a lot more about it than he told her, he sounded pretty sure he would be successful. Dagrun would attempt to learn as much from this encounter as possible, who knew, perhaps she could use it for her own advantage later on?
She was quite surprised that the moltres could hear what Agent M said, and even more that it did what he told it to. Although perhaps it was just happy for a short break. She followed the battle between the xurkitree and the flygon, unsure if she should pay most attention to the pokemon, or the agent beside her. Where were there most to be learned? Where was the secrets hidden? "So how are you going to catch it? Planning to test if it is pokemon with a pokeball?" Asked Dagrun innocently and would watch intently.

Agent M moved his other hand that wasn't facing Dagrun to his ear, maybe he put on some earbud or something. He made some slight "mm-hmm" sound as if he heard something. If he was communicating via wireless network, it's quite interesting that he got signal in this wilderness. Or perhaps, Hoenn just have wireless satellite aimed at the wilderness, because after all, how do Pokedex works out in the wild, or how do Pokemon Rangers or trainers get help in the middle of nowhere?
Then, the agent turned to Dagrun just a little, and gave a nod while grinning, as if anticipating for her to watch. He grabbed a typical red and white Pokeball, and hurled it in an attempt to capture the strange creature. That creature can't be capture by a Pokeball, can it? He watched as the Pokeball flew past his Flygon and toward the Xurkitree.... Unlike other Pokemon where the Pokeball would stop mid-air to absorb the Pokemon into the capture devise, the Pokeball simply just dropped to the ground to complete the throw. However, the agent wasn't upset about this, as if he was experimenting to confirm a theory in his head.
The creature retaliated with an attack of its own. It placed the "hands" together and fired a beam at the Flygon, but that didn't do much. It also looked like "Signal Beam" for some reason. Then, the agent grabbed another spherical device. This time it was a certain shade of blue, and when he tossed it, it made a certain hum in the air. This time, it actually sucked in the creature and dropped to the ground as it wobbled.

Dagrun did her best to try hear what Agent M was talking about with his colleagues, she would give a lot to know just a bit of what he knew, as he definitely hid something for her. It was to no avail though as he didn't really say anything, and it was impossible to hear what he was told, she was a ninja, not a spy. She didn't think much about how he had connection, she knew how hard her village were constantly fighting to keep their home off the online map and hidden. They had access to internet, as some of their work now required that as well, but they were strict about it, as one single mistake could ruin it all and reveal them for eternity.
She looked curiously as he revealed a normal pokeball and she held her breath as he threw it after the weird looking creature. It didn't really look confused anymore, but it probably did little difference anyway. The pokeball seemed like it hit its mark, but then just fell down to the ground without activating. "So definitely no a pokemon then," commented Dagrun quietly and began to wonder if it was some kind of machine. "So what now?" Asked she Agent M, although he had already the answer as he held another pokeball-like device in his hand, and threw it at the xurkitree. "What was that?" Asked Dagrun intrigued and gave a single laugh as this special "pokeball" worked just fine. She once again held her breath while she waited to see if the creature would remain in the ball or not.
"What was that thing you threw called? And what's the difference between it and a regular pokeball?" Asked Dagrun excited and decided it would be natural for her happy-go-lucky trainer to think that as well. "What is that thing? Where does it come from? Is it an alien thing from space? Are you going to wipe my memory now or something?" Rambled Dagrun a lot of excited questions of her and narrowed her eyes like she was expecting to see some kind of flash.

"Yup, this creature definitely wasn't a Pokemon. In fact, this was the second one to enter our planet," Agent M replied, grinning a little at Dagrun's response. After he had replied, the special device had stopped wobbling, and ended with a loud DIng to indicate the success of capture. Though it wasn't a regular DING like the regular Pokeballs, it was a different kind of signal sound, that did the same thing. His Flygon flew forward to pick up the sphere, and then handed over to the Agent, as he held his hand open, and thanked his Pokemon for the hard work.
The atmosphere seemed to have cooled a bit, as the Moltres hadn't been using heat intensive moves for a few minutes. However, it hadn't budge yet as it watched the man closely. The agent began to replied to Dagrun, and the Moltres appeared to be listening in or try to, "This is called a Beast Ball," he held out the strange capture device for Dagrun to see. "I don't expect you to be a sci-fi person, but no, we're not going to wipe your memory. It's easier if people would just think you sounds crazy or something." He joked for a bit, and then resumed again.
"This Xurkitree is actually more alien than Deoxys, if you're aware of the legend of Pokemon from out of space. There was an incident some time ago with another strange looking creature like this one, that led to the invention of this Beast Ball and looking for agents like me to subdue, and capture them. Well, this is the second one of these creature so far, and probably won't be the last." He continued, and tucked away the capture device.
"Some of our brightest astrophysicist and physicist says that they might be come from another dimension, maybe one that only Pokemon like Palkia and Dialga can go to? These creatures have strengths like a legendary Pokemon, like the Moltres here. But since we're not trying to capture legendary Pokemon, they end up scouting past participants from the previous Hoenn league, and I was one of them. I was a semi-finalist from a few years ago, you can find video footage of me from the league. Anyways, the Finalist of that year went on to travel to another region, and the other semi-finalist got their own thing going on or reason to decline. They also got some people from other years, but we're a small group scattered throughout Hoenn region." he cleared his throat and paused. "Hopefully you won't be seeing these strange creatures again, they're quite dangerous, but they seem to just open a portal somewhere once in a while."
The Moltres, having rested a little, cried a solemn call, and several Pokemon from the woods, that weren't exhausted from the heat came scurried over or flew over. They were looking at the legendary Pokemon with respect. The fire bird cried a few more times, as if apologizing for the heat, and maybe explained a little bit of what happened in Pokemon speak.
Lastly, the agent clicked on something inside his clothing and communicated with someone through an electronic device. "Case number two had been subdued and captured. I am ready for pick up now. Hey, can you grab me something cold to drink on your way?" He giggled at the response that he heard, and joked a little bit before he stopped talking to the other people on the other side of wireless communication.
OOC: still not concluding what his other Pokemons are yet. ending soon

Dagrun sucked in all what the agent suddenly decided to tell her. It was definitely something her village would find useful as well. She didn't say much during Agent M's many explanation, focusing on remembering all the details and not getting anything wrong. "Wait, is Deoxys real as well?" she exclaimed to strengthen her image as new and fairly inexperienced, but curious new trainer. She had had a well enough education to know what was real and what wasn't, though this Moltres was the first legendary pokemon she had the luck to see with her own eyes. When she heard that others of these so called "Ultra Beasts" had been appearing in the region, she wondered if that could be linked to the organisations she was meant to investigate and reveal. If they were like others she had heard about, they were certainly going to be targeting some legendaries, and if these new kind of beasts were just as strong, they were certainly going to be useful as well. It seemed like Dagrun was going to need to train a lot to be ready for what was in store for her. "And if they do, I hope there are some capable trainers around to handle them," agreed Dagrun and made a note about having to ask her village about informations on this strange group, that apparently were gathered to handle these beasts. His comments about his place in the League she just took as bragging.
Dagrun looked in awe at the majestic bird and once again were a bit disappointed she couldn't hear what was said in the other end of Agent M's conversation, although it didn't sound as interesting this time. "Can I get something too?" She asked cheekily when he mentioned getting something to drink. She was not planning on going anywhere, before she had got as much information about this guy and his organisation as possible.
(ooc: I hope this makes sense, I still have some fever, so I may have made some weird phrasing I can't see at the moment, hehe)

"Some people say or speculate that the DNA that forms deoxys from out of space is the same DNA that led to Mew and then all the other Pokémon," the agent smiled casually at Dagrun, but then made a shrug because he wasn't a scientist.
He had heard her compliment about strong trainers to handle them ultra beasts, while that comment lit up bus day even more, he smiled and just moved his posture a little like he had heard and acknowledged it. He asked her what drinks she wanted and relayed that to the other side of his communication. After severe minutes, a helicopter came and sent a Taillow to deliver Dagrun's drink. The agent climbed up the ladder and said farewell to her.
Moltres and other wild Pokémon, after feeling the heat died down and the situation resolved, parted in their ways. The flying myth flew away somewhere to where it usually hides.

Dagrun smiled at Agent M's explanation. She found it really interesting, although she wasn't sure it really explained that Deoxys existed. She found the sight of Moltres to be a much more reliable proof, since if this one existed then why not all the others? She pretended she didn't notice how the agent looked more proud and confidence after her compliments. People were easy to affect and gain goodwill from that way. This time it looked like it worked as well, as she too got something to drink. She cheerfully said her goodbyes to the agent and did all she could to note any characteristics or anything that could help her gain some information on the agency she had just met.
She sat and enjoyed the drink while watching the moltres and the wild pokemon. It was quite enjoyable now the temperature had went down, and even though she hadn't been able to do much, she was pleased with what she had accomplished. It was a big event to meet a legendary as moltres, it was surely a once in a lifetime experience. Dagrun was also very pleased with Warin's bravery, he might become more handy than she first had thought.
As the legendary pokemon returned to where it came from and Dagrun stayed for a bit, before she too slowly strolled back to town. It had been a time she would have wished could have continued, but as everything else it would end.
(ooc: Thanks for a fun and interesting thread)
