Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) "Try another one," Mirella suggested. The Wurmple's aim hadn't been off enough, so their chance to escape unscathed yet was too slim in her opinion. Whiskas threw more mud in the air, and Mirella kept watching for a way out. The Wurmple moved with excess energy, the change was almost surprising. She took one step back, just to make sure she wouldn't get in the way somehow, and she felt something brush against her legs. Mirella looked down behind, and saw the Surskit, Fly, wave up at her. It pointed with its small legs at the battle, and jumped up and down. Mirella's eyes flew between Fly and the battlers, trying to grasp the meaning. "Whiskas can take it just fine. You don't have to do anything, Fly." she said, after taking a guess. But Fly kept jumping, so when Whiskas was done with his next mud-slap, Mirella decided to change tactics. "Back with you, Whiskas. Fly want a try."Flashing light, and Fly jumped into the scene. She didn't think much about it, but she was still in her home, and felt the need to protect herself, even if the Wurmple hadn't instigated the fight to start with. (Ooc: Whiskas uses Mud-Slap 2 timees, Fly changes in.)

Whiskas kept on flinging mud as Mirella instructed, sending them into the direction of the Wurmple, who was looking a bit more and more dirtier than when they first met. The bug continued to battle, trying again to fire another volley of poison sting, which finally had one barb hit the slimy Barboach. Although the ground type Pokemon was kinda slimy and slim, most of the poison stings brushed past the slimy skin of the Barboach. Well, except that one of course, which it hit and seeped poison into the Pokemon's body, making it look sicked and tired after a few seconds. Then, while the Barboach was kind of struggling, the Wurmple charged in for a tackle, flipping the Barboach to the side with its impact. Thankfully though, Fly was switched in to take cover for the Wurmple, where Whiskas could wait until he's recovered by Mirella or until the battle was over for the poison to wear off. Seeing that it finally faced the Surskit, the Wurmple decided to fire a String Shot again, because it seemed friendly when they first met, and going offense right away might come off as rude, especially from one bug to another.

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Fly blinked at the string that coated her in white bands as light as the wind. She knew of course that they would trouble her movements, so she didn't bother with struggling against it. She would just have to move carefully. She did think it kind of the Wurmple staying the poison sting a bit. Fly looked at the ground and decided it wasn't wet enough, so she shot bubbles out to soak it with water. If a few hit Wurmple, that was just a shame for it. Secretly, Fly got all giddy, when they blasted near others. They made so funny noises and expressions. When Fly was satisfied with the wetness of the ground and grass at her feet, she blew even more bubbles, this time aimed at Wurmple. Mirella was surprised the Wurmple was still able to hit Whiskas. He had got more hurt than she anticipated, so in a sense it was good Fly had wanted a go. Now she just needed to ensure she didn't get too wet with all the water roaming the air. She would like to continue her walk decently dry. She doubted she would convince herself to go out again, if she had to go home to change clothes. (Ooc: Fly uses Bubble 2 timees.)

As the two bugs continued to battle, Fly used her only method of attack right now, which would be the Bubbles attack. Being slowed down by the Wurmple, the Surskit could only move slowly to get close to the red bug before attacking. Seizing this opportunity, the sort of kind Wurmple fired another String Shot, which drastically slowed Fly again, but after the first String Shot, this was a bit redundant. She could only fired one after another, but they were a bit slow because her body was constrained from the string shot, which made shooting projectiles requiring more efforts. After slowing the Surskit twice, The bug fired another Poison Sting at its opponent, which made the Surskit extremely weak and exhausted from the attack, on top of the poison running through her body. If the Wurmple didn't pass out now and the battle continued longer, she would be the one passing out! Thankfully, despite the string shot and poison stings, there were still some slow-moving bubbles on the field, and they finally made it to the Wurmple and popped one after the other, fainting the red bug.

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Mirella was very relieved when the Wurmple finally stopped attacking Fly. Though things hadn't gone as she imagined, she was just happy, that they now could leave the place without further complications. The Wurmple had been impressive (and kind to start), but Mirella couldn't imagine what use the bug could be for her, other than bait, and that was just cruel. Carefully, she pushed the Wurmple a little out of sight, so it wasn't immediate viewable from the trail, and she signaled with a handwave for Fly to follow. She had to help her out of the sticky web first, but not long after they were moving again, and Mirella started humming to herself after a while longer. She slowed down to a slender, knowing that the small forest between Petalburg and Oldale couldn't be much bigger, and she didn't want to face any city just yet. She would just stay here in the greenery, and forget the world for a little while more. Maybe she could even find a patch of water between the trees, if she looked close enough. Fly circled Mirella as she walked. She zipped back and forth, exploring her capabilities with her newly (re)gained speed, and felt distinctly proud she had been able to defend both herself and her new trainer. Fly decided she could have done worse for a human. (Ooc: Still staying on route 102.)

Continuing and enjoying her walk before the next city appeared, and putting the Wurmple in a safe place out of sight, Mirella and her Surskit strolled through the route peacefully for a while. Everything seemed to be quiet for a bit, and even Fly seemed to enjoy the quiet tranquility. When they finally saw the small lake of this route in the distance, suddenly a Seedot wiggled itself off of a tree branch and fell to the ground with a thud. With her speed recovering after the battle with the Wurmple, Fly zipped past her trainer to check out the Seedot. The Seedot, having a boring day after hanging on a branch all day, was energetic and ready for some exercise. The Seedot quickly got friendly with the Surskit, and ran around the bug Pokemon. Bouncing and running with just the legs, the young Pokemon seemed to be enjoying each other, perhaps a battle isn't the only way to get some exercise. The Seedot seemed to be much more energetic than both Surskit and Mirella combined, perhaps the sunlight was feeding the grass Pokemon well today.
A (Level 5) Seedot appeared! What would Mirella do? This Seedot is nothing special. Surskit, Wurmple, and Seedot were encountered on Route 102.

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Mirella truly started to enjoy the day and relax. It wasn't a halfbad walk at all. When she saw the patch of water between the trees she brightened even further, but was immediately thrown by the sudden appearance of an acorn look-a-like. She jumped in surprise, but Fly's immediate interaction with the acorn Pokemon, made her calm down again. It wasn't attacking. Just jumping around all over the place, and being very energetic for a creature imitating the seed of a tree. Mirella looked longing ahead at the water, and then back at the wild Pokemon. "Come play by the lake with us, if that's what you want." she suggested, and took steps to continue. "There might even be more to play with." She didn't wish to be held back so close to her destination, and so made a jump of her own like she played a game of tag with the acorn as the chaser. "Catch me, if you can!"Fly expressed her surprise in a trill at Mirella jumping into action so suddenly and racing to the lake. 'Come on!' she said excited to the Seedot, and ran for it herself. She waved with a leg, inviting it to follow, and giggling in surprise. She withheld her bubbles though. She didn't wish to be misunderstood in this situation. (Ooc: ~)

Fly gained 5 Happiness from playing with the Seedot! A (Level 3) Poochyena chased off the Seedot! It's nothing special. Surskit, Wurmple, Poochyena, and Seedot were encountered on Route 102.
Running toward the body of water in Route 102, Mirella and her Surskit and the wild Seedot were having fun sweating and getting some fun cardio exercises in. The Surskit and the Seedot were enjoying themselves, and the bug Pokemon was giggling from the non-battle activity that she was having. She didn't know from before that you can have fun in ways other than blowing bubbles, especially since usually she was running from foes instead of running for fun.
When they did finally caught up to Mirella, the Seedot thanked the Surskit for the fun, and practically forget why it was here in the first place. A low growl could be heard, and this made the grass type jumped and say farewell to the bug type as it disappeared. Suddenly, from the tall grass a growl could be heard. Or maybe it was two types of growl, one from the throat and one from the stomach. The poor Poochyena was hungry now that its thirst was filled from the lake water, and it was grumpy to see a human around. At least its throat wont be dry from growling!

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Mirella laughed breathlessly at the Pokemons' antics. Not an easy task while running. It geniunely looked like they were enjoying themselves, and she was proud to have thought of such an easy solution. They reached their goal and entertained a wild Pokemon all in one go. At the small lake Mirella halted gasping for air. She didn't run that often. While she got her breath back she looked at the lake and its surrounding area. It looked peaceful, and she automatically pecked out the best place to sit down and fish. Luckily, she didn't get time to sadden again, as a growl interfered with the peace. She looked quickly around, and saw the acorn Pokemon run off, before a grey canine jumped out in the open. Mirella stepped back, a bit frightened herself, but hardened her decision to stay and strengthened her resolve by straigthening her back. "Stop it," she almost demanded, though it came off as a bit weak. She held out a hand placatingly. "We are not doing any harm. We are only here to sit by the lake. If you let us be, we let you be." A little late she began doubting if the Poochyena even understood her words. It had come so suddenly. Had it even had time to find out, who or what it was threatening? Trying to give action to her words, she gave the Poochyena some distance and while still keeping an eye on the canine she carefully edged down to the water to see what would happen if she sat down. Fly had quieted down as soon the Seedot ran, and she now tiptoed forward, putting herself in between the Poochyena and the trainer. She was supposed to offer protection, right? Passing the Poochyena a bit closer than Mirella, she bowed her head, partly in greeting, partly to show herself as none-threatening. Sniffing the air and then wagging its tail, the Poochyena was trying its best "puppy look", something that its parents had taught it. However, after a couple of seconds, the human seem unresponsive, and even the Pokemon don't seem to be agitated by this. Seeing the duo were sitting by the lake and not bothering to give it food, the dark type Pokemon gave up.Feeling hungry and seeing that the human don't seem to reciprocate the growling from its stomach, the Poochyena sighed and dashed away. Not to mention, this human looked a bit other humans that usually frequent this route. Perhaps, the hungry Poochyena could look for some other young, kinder human to approach. It had learned not to waste time wit humans that weren't attracted by his cute appearance. After the Seedot and Poochyena were gone, the lake was quiet again with just Mirella and the Seedot. A gentle breeze blew by, welcoming the two to the lake. Everything was mostly quiet again besides the gentle wind. There were some rustling in the grass, perhaps some more wild Pokemon were nearby, but it was difficult to make out where they were yet.
Poochyena ran away! OOC: Alright, I can make the next one the trainer then?

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Mirella took the wagging of the tail as agreement and sat down with an easier heart. She eyed the Poochyena, curious at its changed demeanor, but maybe it had been enough to keep a distance and let it be. She had been afraid it might attack her for going into its territory with how it had growled at them. To her surprise it suddenly ran away, and she looked after it with a sense of regret. It hadn't been her intention to chase it away. She hoped it just had better things to do than sit and look miserable at a lake. Had it been lonely, perhaps? Mirella patted Fly on the head and gave a little wave and a nod towards the water. The Surskit had sat so quiet beside her, while the Poochyena had been there, Mirella thought she might like a trip on the water. However, Fly didn't seem to understand what Mirella meant, and so Mirella blinked and smiled ruefully. She would have to get used to talking more, so her two new Pokemon would get what she was on about. "You are allowed to ski on the water, if you want," she opened her mouth and explained. "I won't hold you back." Immediately Fly turned energetic and jumped out on the surface with a gleeful sound. Mirella leaned back on her hands and watched the show. After the Poochyena had left, Mirella casually enjoyed time bonding with her Surskit, by letting the playful Surskit enjoy herself skidding across the lake. The water bug danced on the water for a while, closing its eyes as it moved across the water so naturally and fluidly. After all, the water is one of her home, with the land the other. After watching the Surskit for a while, a young trainer had deduced that the Surskit belonged to Mirella, who was much older than this young trainer. Suddenly, the grass rustled as she stood up, feeling painful from carrying a bag of books and crouching to watch the Suskit quietly in the grass. She approached the trainer and exclaimed her excitement. "Your Surskit is so cool! Last year we had a field trip by Petalburg City and we saw some Surskit dancing in the water like that!""Oh, I forget to introduce myself, my name is Karen and I'm a student from Rustboro, but we're on school break now so I am visiting my grandparents at Oldale Town. Can we have a battle please?" She smiled, sending out her first Pokemon of choice. "I have a Shroomish when I entered middle school! Can we have a battle please I want to learn more about Pokemon!"
OOC: I don't know if I put this in any guide, but since RPers can travel anywhere on western Hoenn with scaling wild Pokemon level, I will also be grabbing trainers that are a little higher or lower than your highest and lowest level Pokemon. It makes sense that way... also I didn't really make this a rule yet. but 3 turns would be really risky for trainer battle perhaps

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Mirella was lost to the world for a while, her eyes only automatically following the movements of Fly, as she flew on the water surface. Mirella was really bad at paying attention sometimes, but the emerging of a voice did rip her back to reality. Mirella blinked her eyes and looked up to see a kid standing there with school bag on her back. Mirella blinked again. Had the girl said something about Fly? "Hello. Who..." she started, and was then interrupted by the girl introducing herself. Saved her from asking at least. "My name is Mirella." she said in the next pause from the girl, Karen. She would have to remember that for the rest of their conversation. "You want to battle?" she said carefully, making sure she had heard that right. She looked at the Shroomish with great misgivings. Shroomish weren't unfamiliar ground to her, but her experience with them mostly came down to running for your life, or rather Whiskas' life. Could she risk it? Mirella grimaced. Denying wasn't really an option, as far as Mirella had understood from the customers at the Pokemart. You lost or you won, but you didn't not battle. Mirella closed her eyes shortly, and then got up, dusting off her hands. "Alright, I guess. I'm not sure you will learn much from me, though." She had to warn the girl. After accepting the battle offer, she had to decide who would battle. Mirella looked out to Fly, who still skidded about on the water. She noticed how the Surskit stayed away from land. She wouldn't get any help from that front just now, and there was no way she exposed Whiskas for this opponent. That left Caddish, but maybe that wasn't so bad. The Corphish had seemed eager enough before. Maybe a Shroomish was just the right opponent for the aggressive one. Decision made, Mirella picked out Caddish ball, and let her out. "There's an opponent for you, Caddish," she told the Corphish like she was talking about the weather. "I'll let you decide what to do here, if you will let me take care of your health underways." She hadn't forgotten how it hadn't listened to her before. Caddish didn't exactly react to her, but she did start her aggressive looking dance. (Ooc: Caddish uses Dragon Dance. Wordcount: 382)

"Thank you very much for battling with me, Mirella. We will give our best!" She smiled widely and then got into position, spreading herself far enough for the Pokemon to have a battle without getting the humans harmed. Then, she took out a notebook and began giggling and writing notes, as she can't believe that she would be able to have an educational battle. "You have a very... strong looking Corphish, Mirella! Alright, Shroomish, I want you to use Stun Spore!" She ordered and watched and took notes as the battle continued. Caddis the intmidating crustacean jumped first, and did her weird dance by wiggling her legs and moving her body in a strange dancing motion. While to onlookers it was a confusing move, it was a way for the red Pokemon to motivates and energize itself even more. The girl had a confused look on her face as she couldn't figure out anything about this dance rather than, "a dance", as she had put on her notebook. Then, the Shroomish ran forward, with orange powders that could induce paralysis fuming out of its head. The effective pollens scattered across the field, lingering in the air for a few seconds before settling on the ground and sucked by the soil. Since it was her own Pokemon, she knew what this move was. Unfortunately, the paralysis went into Caddis's nostril, and the water type suddenly found her body tensed and unable to move, like the nerves were numbed from the attack. She managed to move her facial muscles and pincers to show how angry she was from this attack though.

Day one: Forest walk (Route 102) Mirella watched vaguely interested, as Karen pulled out a notebook and started scribbling in it. Her relief at hearing no absorbing was on its immediate way was short-lived. Stun Spore raised another kind of trouble, she hadn't thought about. But then it was just another reason for her to avoid Shroomish as much as possible. She watched with concern the Stun Spore take effect, and Caddis start to move sluggish and stiff. She was pretty sure she didn't have anything to help against it. Caddis clipped her pinchers and looked at Mirella, and even though they had only known each other for half a day, Mirella had an idea, what the angry look was about. "I said I would help with your health, but with paralysis I can't help you. You'll just have to fight through it on your own. You wan't to fight, right?" Her stern tone brook no argument, and though she ended with a question it sounded more like a fact. Caddis returned her eyes on the Shroomish and tryed to dance through her halted movements, and then dance some more. Mirella sighed, just a bit relieved, and decided it was silly to stand so far from the other human, while the Pokemon duked it out. She walked around, and placed herself beside the girl, so she could see her notes. "What are you writing?" This way she might learn something too. She caught the word 'dance', and gave what knowledge she had gathered from the pokedex about it. "Oh, Caddis' dancing is called 'Dragon Dance'. According to the pokedex it encourages her to be stronger and faster for a little while."(Ooc: Caddish uses Dragon Dancex2 (taking a risk). Wordcount: 274)
